Description
We are slowly seeing the reoccurrence of sea stars back on our Pacific west coast. A 'mystery wasting disease' which has now been identified was considered the largest marine disease outbreak ever recorded. The virus has been around for years and scientists are still working on why the major outbreak only recently occurred - some feel it was the overabundance of them and natures way of culling. Scientists are watching the newest generation of sea stars that are now making a comeback up and down the coast.
